Daily Hot Stove Wrap Up 11/7

-The Diamondbacks appear to be actively shopping outfielder Justin Upton.  The price tag will and should be very high and teams like the Yankees, Rangers, and Tigers might be possible destinations.

-The Diamondbacks also appear to be listening on pitcher Trevor Bauer, which is very interesting.  He will command a huge return though so the Dbacks might be onto something here.
-The White Sox acquired outfielder Blake Tekotte from the Padres for right handed pitcher Brandon Kloess.  Tekotte has been a pretty well regarded prospect, but the the speedster has really struggled in the Major Leagues over parts of the last 2 seasons.
-Jeremy Hellickson is drawing a lot of interest for the Rays.  He figures to have a very high asking price as he is young and under team control for a while.  The list of teams who would be interesting is too long to rattle off.
-Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal was suspended for 50 games for testing positive for testosterone.  While losing his bat is a huge blow, the Padres do have some decent depth at catcher.
-The Mets released outfielder Jason Bay while agreeing to pay his entire contract.  This is a good deal for both teams as the Bay's time with the Mets has been a fiasco.  The Mariners or Indians are possible landing spots for Bay.
-The Orioles are targeting outfielders Josh Hamilton and Cody Ross.  Hamilton could make a huge difference in Baltimore as an outfield of Hamilton, Adam Jones, and Nick Markakis would be among the best in baseball.
-The Cubs are interested in pitchers Brandon McCarthy and Shaun Marcum.  Both are good fits for the Cubs' plans this off-season.  Short, relatively low money deals for pitchers who have a very high upside but plenty of risk as well.
-Outfielders Torii Hunter will be very sought after in the free agent market with the early players being the Yankees, Red Sox, Rangers, Tigers, Phillies and Angels.

-Adam LaRoche is being coveted by the Red Sox and Rangers while the Washington Nationals are looking to keep LaRoche on their roster.

-The Rockies have narrowed their list of possible managers down to two, Walt Weiss and Matt Williams.  Early speculation is that Weiss is the front runner for the job.

-Former Chicago White Sox bullpen coach Juan Nieves was hired as the pitching coach for the Boston Red Sox under new manager John Farrell.
