A pretty slow day today in the MLB offseason. Here are a few tid-bits.
-Ken Rosenthal from Fox Sports has confirmed that the Dodgers have won the rights to negotiate Korean Lefty Hyun-jin Ryu with a bid of $25.7 million.
-The Red Sox have signed a two year deal with former Atlanta Braves catcher David Ross.
-With the Red Sox signing of David Ross there is speculation that Jared Saltalamacchia could be on the move. Early guesses could be to the Mets or White Sox who could both use help behind the plate.
-Michael Bourn seems to be the Phillies Plan A with outfielder BJ Upton being Plan B.
-Outfielder Shane Victorino is garnering interest from a lot of teams because he can play all outfield positions and is a viable lead off hitter. The Reds, and Indians seem to be the two most interested teams, as the Rangers and Red Sox are also showing interest.
-Torii Hunter is still getting a lot of interest. The Tigers, White Sox, Rangers and Mariners are thought to be showing interest.
